Notes
Native to the Long Island South Shore,(US East Coast) the first dozen boats were built by the designer. Later boats came from a number of other builders. Presumably the name came from the designer, but no one seems to know what it stands for. A relatively large number of these boats are still sailing making this one of oldest existing classes in America.
